1999 Trimedia Multimedia Communicator
Concepts exploring the ‘space’ between the traditional product domains of TV, telephone and computer. New forms of expression and interaction were explored and prototyped, which allowed multiple forms communications and browsing. Communicator with integrated web camera and touch screen browser and keyboard. Tangible ‘phicons’ which are physical icons representing circle of friends illumunate to show online presence. Phicons proximity to centre of circle determines bandwidth of communication.
