2009 air tree
A natural light diffuser that provides an abstract window on the outside world. The Air tree concept is design to deliver filtered moisturised air around the room in a random and unpredictable manner.The air tree consists of a vaporizer covered by textile ‘clouds’. It is designed to ‘breathe’ in rhythm to the airflow outside. The movement of the ‘mobile’ relates to the weather outside and is intended to create a subliminal connection to nature which surrounds us.
The system maintains a healthy level of filtered air with subtle changes in humidity. The mobile dispenses vapor over a large area in an a-rhythmic manner – much like the weather outside.
