As part of its commitment to delivering on its promise of ‘sense and simplicity’ Philips has looked at how it could bring simplicity to peoples’s lives in the next three to five years.

The starting point for this project was the Philips ‘sense and simplicity’ brand promise. This was taken as the foundation for a model that can be approached from two perspectives: the end user’s and that of the creative process. We identified three interrelated dimensions for our framework: Sense in people’s lives, Simplicity in functionality and usability, and Simplicity in look and feel.
